Model United Nations
UCR'S Model United Nations program combines classroom instruction on the United Nations with extensive simulation and role playing exercises. UCR Political Science students have the opportunity to display and practice initiative and organizational skills each year by hosting one of the largest high school Model United Nations Conferences in the nation. UCR-MUN members also participate in the national Model United Nations Conference held annually in New York. Upper-division credit is given for successful completion of the course requirements.
The MUN program promotes valuable friendship among the participants, helps students to develop leadership skills, and establishes connections with important members of the United Nations community by participating in conferences. For additional information, check out the UCR-MUN web page.
